Job Function Matching

Job Function Matching ™

Matching a worker’s physical capabilities to the demands of the job is a critical component of any company’s injury prevention and management process.  HealthWorks provides Job Function Matching (JFM), a system that has successfully proven to reduce musculoskeletal injuries and the impact that they may have on both the worker and the employer. JFM is ADAAA and EEOC compliant.

Our process involves comprehensive Job Analysis and objective functional testing based on a validated job description. While largely successful when used post-offer pre-employment, in the event that an injury does occur, the use of JFM can facilitate early return to work and reduce disability.

Job Function Matching can be utilized for:

  • Hiring and Post Offer Testing
  • Identifying Ergonomic Opportunities
  • Employee Training and Education
  • Return to Work Processes
  • Job Transfers and Disability Reduction
