Centra Outpatient Rehab at Tate Springs Medical Center is located in the heart of Lynchburg's midtown medical district, across the street from Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. We offer outpatient physical therapy services in a comfortable wellness atmosphere, with easily accessible parking outside our facility. Our office provides individual private treatment rooms and an open gym, with new fitness machines and equipment. We have qualified therapists and staff who will provide the excellent one-on–one care that patients need and deserve.

Licensed Physical TherapistsLeann Martin Perault, PT, MS, CEASSite Coordinator at Tate SpringsLeann has been a physical therapist for Centra since she moved to Lynchburg in 1998. Currently, she is the site coordinator for the Tate Springs outpatient facikity. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary and her Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University. She also has received her certification as an ergonomic assessment specialist (CEAS). She has additional training and interests in postural re-education, core stabilization for spinal injuries and back pain, TMJ disorders and cranio-facial pain, shoulder rehabilitation, and vestibular dysfunction (incl. vertigo and balance training to prevent falls). She is also involved with the Joint Replacement Center of Virginia (at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital) in pre-op education and post-operative rehabilitation. In her free time, she also enjoys skiing, walking and hiking outdoors, kayaking (with her husband), shopping, and, of course, spending time with family and friends.
Lou Ann Thompson, DPTLou Ann has been working as a physical therapist for Centra since June 2006. She received both her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University. She is interested in the orthopedic and geriatric populations. She has had additional education on treatment of the lumbar complex and comprehensive treatment of the shoulder. In her free time, she enjoys working out, shopping, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
