Where to go
Lab Work/Outpatient Testing is located at Lynchburg General Hospital, Virginia Baptist Hospital and Centra Lab. Your doctor will schedule an appointment for you. Regular registration hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. After 5 p.m., registration takes place in the main hospital admissions area. Your physician will give you instructions on where to go and at what time.

What to bring
When you report for registration, please bring your doctor's orders for
registration or have your physician phone in his request.

What to expect
Registration is completed in the lobby. Then you will be escorted to the appropriate area for your scheduled tests.

Financial Arrangements
You should discuss outpatient testing with your employer or private
insurance carrier to determine your insurance coverage. All charges not covered by insurance are your responsibility to pay at the time you leave the hospital.
