Available 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday at Lynchburg General Hospital (LGH) and Virginia Baptist Hospital (VBH)

• Activity Cart:  We have games, cards, VCR/DVD players, movies, books-on-tape, and puzzles for patients and families (located on each nursing unit).
• Customer Service Volunteers:  Visit patients daily to provide support and communicate requests.
• Gift Shops:  Offer a nice selection of gifts at each hospital.
• Hospitality Rooms/Suites:  Suite are available for out-of-town families.  Request information at nurses' station.
• Humor Call:  Trained clowns visit to brighten your day (when available).
• Loaner Laptops:  We offer loaner laptops with free wireless Internet connection.  Please call extension 3094 or 5602 at LGH or extension 4695 at VBH.
• Moving Melodies:  Musicians perform at the bedside to provide a calming environment.
• Pet Therapy:  Experience the joy of a visiting therapy dog.
• Special Hands:  Enjoy a special hand massage by a trained volunteer.  For an appointment, call extension 3228 at LGH or extension 4695 at VBH.
• LGH Shuttle Van:  At LGH, we provide rides from your car to our front door.  Monday-Friday, 9 am to 4 pm.
