To meet the needs of a growing number of Danville area patients turning to Centra for care, Centra is opening an office of the Centra Medical Group on Airport Road in Danville.

Specialty physicians and providers will treat patients in the new practice, which is located next to Piedmont PrimeCare East at 404 Airport Road. The center will now offer neurosurgery, orthopaedics and advanced occupational medicine, and plans to add urology and cardiology later. In the meantime, cardiology services are offered close by at Centra Medical Center in Gretna, (434.656.8375), and urology services are offered in Moneta, (540.297.7840).

Last summer, Centra opened the Centra Alan B. Pearson Regional Cancer Center, which combines comprehensive cancer services under one roof. Centra also offers a broad range of other health care services in Virginia, from health and rehabilitation centers to pain and wound care centers to mental health services.
