Irma W. Seiferth is the executive director of the Lynchburg Covenant Fellowship, Inc., and has served on the board of a broad range of community and civic organizations.

Seiferth joined the non-profit, charitable and educational corporation Lynchburg Covenant Fellowship in 1974, and oversees the fellowship's low-income housing, central city neighborhood services, camping and recreational facilities and urban planning programs.

Before moving to Virginia in 1974, Seiferth was employed by Cummins Engine Co. in Columbus, Indiana, as college relations manager with responsibilities for college recruiting, the summer intern program and the cooperative education program. She attended private and public schools in Natchez, Mississippi, and Indiana and Purdue universities.

In central Virginia, Seiferth has served on the board of directors of STEP with Links, National Conference for Community and Justice, Lynchburg Chapter of The Links, Kaleidoscope, Lynchburg Bicentennial Commission, Family Services of Central Virginia, Lynchburg Restoration and Housing Corp., Elizabeth's Early Learning Center, Greater Lynchburg Community Trust, League of Women Voters and the Lynchburg Voters League. She also has served on the board of directors of the Children's Home Society.
