A lifelong educator, Consuella K. Woods is a retired school administrator. She is currently working as an educational consultant.
She served on the board of directors of the Virginia Association of Secondary School Principals.
She has served on numerous education-related committees, from the Governor's Standard Setting Advisory Committee for the Standards of Learning Tests to the Superintendent's Cabinet Advisory Board and Policy Review Committee.
A graduate of Bluefield State College, she holds a master's degree in administration from Lynchburg College with additional graduate hours from the University of Virginia.
